Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models and algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools (e.g., IDEs, CI/CD pipelines).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in software development, such as Python, Java, or C++.

The AI/ML Foundations team is a group of engineers and data scientists tasked with building the foundations for engineering excellence and prototyping helpful, internal-facing AI/ML products. We partner with teams across the company to apply Google’s best AI/ML techniques to Google’s biggest opportunities across various enterprise domains (marketing, legal, finance, etc.).Our team's mission is to enable partner teams to succeed in their AI/ML projects through the use of differing engagement models, ranging from consulting to productionizing and deploying models. Build cross-functional AI/ML agents and services for use across Google. Educate product teams on AI/ML techniques and infrastructure. Build infrastructure to make this infrastructure easier for other teams to use

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AI/ML solutions to business problems.
- Collaborate with partner teams and business stakeholders to educate them and support their use of AI/ML.
- Create templates and tools to support adoption of emerging technologies.
- Create proofs of concept and well-lit paths for agent infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities to build shared solutions to common problems.
