Position Summary | The Operations and Decision Technologies (ODT) Department in the Indiana University Bloomington campus of the Kelley School of Business invites applicants for multiple tenured/tenure-track positions in Information Systems to begin fall 2026. We welcome applications from individuals with research interests in the broad domains of information systems, software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, IT in organizations, and policies/applications for AI in organizations. Likely teaching responsibilities involve strategy and organizational use of information systems, cybersecurity, management/development/application of AI, applications of modern digital tools for organizations and/or programming and modeling in environments such as Python, R, and SQL. Teaching may include undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level classes. |
Basic Qualifications | Candidates at the entry level must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. degree, or have completed all but dissertation, in the area of information systems or in a related field and have a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and teaching. Candidates at the advanced assistant, associate or full professor level must have a Ph.D. in the area of information systems or in a related field and have a record of high-quality publications, as well as demonstrated teaching experience. While the positions are open rank, pre-tenure candidates are preferred. |
