| Position Summary | The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Assistant Research Professor position. Work will include, but not be limited to: developing new methods to improve the fidelity of human pluripotent stem cell-derived inner ear organoids using tissue engineering approaches, developing techniques to assess cellular/molecular mechanisms underlying pathological conditions in the inner ear, writing grant applications, supervising post-doctoral fellows, research technicians and/or graduate/undergraduate students in the lab. | Basic Qualifications | Doctorate or terminal degree required. Candidates must have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Stem Cell Biology, Neuroscience or related fields. Candidates must also have minimum 2 years of post-doctoral research experience in inner ear biology and peer-reviewed publications. Extensive research experience in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and single-cell RNA-sequencing is required. |
