About the Position:

Under the general direction of a Senior Transportation Engineer, the incumbent performs the duties of an assistant traffic safety engineer including identification, analysis, and remediation of traffic safety concerns using reactive and proactive safety approaches. Perform traffic safety investigations, project initiation, project design support, traffic safety device analysis, recommendations, and post construction inspection, speed management, asset management, and public engagement. All work will support and align with the Safe System approach to meet the Vision Zero goal of zero fatal and serious injury crashes by 2050.
