Position Summary
An Assistant Research Professor in Medicine is immediately available in the research laboratory of Dr. Ana Sofia Mendes Leal at Indiana University School of Medicine. The candidate will work on funded projects with a focus on translational cancer immunology. The recruit will be joining projects in drug development targeting the KEAP-NRF2 and the RXR pathways in highly resistant lung, breast and pancreatic cancers. The recruited candidate will have the opportunity to develop independent focus and apply for independent research support. They will have an opportunity to collaborate with other laboratories at Indiana University Simon Cancer Center. With the translational focus, there will be opportunities to direct their research to direct patient applications and treatments. Candidates should have experience in in cancer biology and immunology in-vitro and mouse models (xenograft, GEMM, etc). Experience in RNA seq/ single cell RNAseq is preferred but not necessary.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree required.
Candidates should have experience in in cancer biology and immunology in-vitro and mouse models (xenograft, GEMM, etc). Experience in RNA seq/ single cell RNAseq is preferred but not necessary.
