ADMISSIONS OPERATIONS (BL-OPER-IUBLA)

The Office of Admissions Operations (OPER) provides strategic and technical support for recruitment, marketing, and admissions processing. The team manages systems and business processes to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service for prospective and current students.
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Serves as the main contact for outside vendors for collecting, understanding and processing recruitment data.
- Defines, develops, maintains and is primarily responsible for loading data from external and internal sources into our Customer Relational Management (CRM) system. Structures and submits data to and from outside entities, confirming unique specifications and requirements.
- Performs and analyzes audits regularly to ensure data is clean and kept up to date
- Performs technical tasks including new process design, development and analysis, definition of program specifications, and database coding.
- Responsible for guiding ideas from the development phases through implementation; and making independent judgements.
- Learns new platforms and toolsets. Maintains and supports existing systems in their current operating environments.
General Responsibilities
- Provides analysis of existing data and data structures and satisfies ad-hoc reporting/analysis requests.
- Creates reporting specifications for new reports/dashboards/analytical tools and assists in testing/validation; ensures integrity, accessibility, and accuracy of reports/dashboards and data structures; reviews and approves user requests for access to reporting data and tools.
- Consults with faculty and/or staff to identify new business reporting needs and provides guidance and interpretation of complex environments and data.
- Documents data analysis efforts (data sources, reporting specifications, tools, issue/problem resolutions).
- Researches and stays up to date on emerging technologies and data analysis tools.

EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science, information science, or related field.)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
- Some experience in data analysis/reporting or related field.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This position is eligible for remote work, subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
$55,500 annually
