Senior Manager, Software Engineering
We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to join our Software Engineering Organization in Mexico City, MX, reporting to the Vice President, Engineering. In this pivotal role as we open our new Center of Excellence in Mexico City, you will provide technical leadership as you lead a team executing the development of a new cybersecurity product development area. Collaborating closely with Threat Intel, SOC, Detection Engineering, Data Infrastructure, Platform teams, and Product Management, you will drive threat research platform development.
Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team focused on threat data collection, analysis, and automation
- Manage and facilitate development teams to ensure development efforts meet corporate quality objectives and launch targets
- Drive product development from requirements to delivery, work with Product Management to define user stories, manage development sprints, and coordinate development efforts with other teams
- Drive engineering excellence and champion development best practices within the organization, including but not limited to design, architecture, re-use, performance, and quality
- Architect and oversee the development of tools for malware analysis, threat correlation, and adversary tracking.
- Drive automation of data ingestion, enrichment, and classification from diverse telemetry and intelligence sources.
- Build integrations with internal detection systems, SIEMs, and data lakes to streamline intelligence workflows.
- Collaborate with security researchers and detection engineers to operationalize threat intelligence into actionable, scalable systems
- Prioritize and manage resource allocations based on changing business priorities, direction, and budget
- Attract, recruit, and retain capable individuals to build high-performing teams and establish mission and purpose for individuals and teams
Be Prepared — What You Bring
- 10-15+ years of experience in software technology with at least 3 years of experience building and mentoring high-performance development teams
- History of leading teams to deliver innovative, easy-to-use, high-performance enterprise SaaS or security applications
- Demonstrated ability to hire, build, coach, and manage a world-class development organization
- Strong development background with Golang and solid architecture skills with demonstrated ability to lead and participate in architecture, design, and technology discussions, and the ability to facilitate the process of resolving challenging technical and architectural issues
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructures, including Kubernetes and AWS
- Strong experience with Big Data pipelines and Kafka
- Relevant domain background in cybersecurity, threat detection, and protecting enterprise customers
- Excellent knowledge of agile development process and CI/CD environments, specifically related to SaaS-based applications
- Strong experience with cloud-based infrastructures, including Kubernetes and AWS
- Good knowledge of software design, data structures, and algorithms
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or similar field is required; master’s degree preferred

Six Months: Develop your knowledge of our cloud-based application platform, micro-service architecture, and our development processes. Lead multiple geographically diverse development teams, delivering value to our customers with our agile CI/CD pipelines
One Year: Work with our Engineering and Product Management teams to define requirements and design new applications for our cloud-managed SaaS solutions. Champion quality, innovation, and efficiency in our development tools, architecture, and processes. Facilitate the successful adoption of our SaaS products by working with our customers, identifying enhancements, and prioritizing development. Act as our engineering site leader in our Mexico City development office
