Senior Collections Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Senior Collections Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable team in Mexico City, reporting to the Manager of Accounting Operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive measurable cash-flow impact by owning a strategic collections portfolio and designing advanced, data-driven strategies that accelerate payment, reduce risk, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen customer payment behavior. Collaborating closely with Sales, Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, Legal, Customer Success, and Credit teams, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business—translating partner behavior and risk analytics into clear insights and recommendations—while leading cross-functional initiatives to modernize our order-to-cash operations using AI, automation, and best-in-class tooling. You’ll work alongside Infoblox’s technical and thought leaders in a highly collaborative, growth-focused environment that prioritizes innovation, professional development, and continuous improvement.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Initiate and manage complex daily collection contacts with customers to ensure timely payments and maintain positive relationships
  • Document customer updates and promised payment dates for accurate collection forecasting and proactive follow-up
  • Investigate and resolve past due balances, perform account reconciliations, generate and provide statements to customers as necessary to resolve delinquencies quickly
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries per SLA
  • Analyze account behavior and payment trends, record insights on qualitative behaviors, collection issues, and cycle/cut-off, used for collection forecasting, improving collection strategies, and used by other teams in making critical decisions
  • Drive collaboration with stakeholders (Credit, Sales Operations, Channels, OM, Tax, Shipping, etc.) to accelerate the collection process or resolved issues, via calls, email, and presentations
  • Recommend credit limit adjustments to the Credit team, backed by data and risk analysis
  • Report creation as assigned (AR Aging in Excel, Top Customers, AR Metrics, ad hoc, etc.)
  • Data driven collection forecasting, ensuring minimal weekly, monthly, and quarterly flux
  • Support in month-end AR close activities, including GL Reconciliations, as assigned
  • Provide back-up for receipt and cash applications processing
  • Presentations to leadership and other teams as assigned, highlighting collection performance, risk exposure, and strategic recommendations
  • Recommend improvement of collection processes, reduce DSO and payment days late, and enhance automation or system efficiency
  • Mentor junior analysts, offering guidance on complex cases and best practices
  • Develop process documentation for collection processes and update in AR Handbook
  • Other duties as assigned, including special projects and strategic initiatives

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of accounts receivable and/or collections experience
  • Expertise in advanced Microsoft Office (Excel with Power Query, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint); large ERP systems (preferably Oracle Fusion); AI tools
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; independently resolve complex problems and make progress amid ambiguity; manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; maintain accuracy with strong attention to detail under pressure; and work flexibly in U.S. time zones
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance

Be Successful — Your Path

Six Months: Be a key team member making sound recommendations for your assigned portfolio. Generate all AR reports with clear understanding of their purpose and underlying data. Contribute to process/report improvements and support testing. Gain hands-on experience across all AR processes and reporting. Produce quality documentation and capture qualitative insights to inform decisions.

One Year: Be the SME for your portfolio and core AR processes. Present and contribute to Channels/Treasury calls. Drive scalable process improvement and reporting enhancements. Represent AR in cross-functional meetings/projects with solid QTC process understanding. Be a key contributor to Infoblox and the AR team’s overall success.
