Staff Software Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our NIOS Engineering team in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering. In this role, you will contribute to building customer-facing UI solutions that serve as a single pane of glass for NIOS customers. You will play a key part in the NIOS & SaaS Convergence journey, delivering new features and enhancements that create value for our customers. This position involves close collaboration with backend services running on a highly scalable, on-prem and cloud-integrated platform. You will have end-to-end ownership of features, from requirements gathering through deployment, ensuring quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate is a results-driven problem solver and strong collaborator, capable of working independently while driving technical excellence and team success

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the UX and UI teams to develop new user-facing features for Infoblox’s Cloud UI
• Work closely with the UI architect to achieve the UI roadmap
• Design and implement reusable components for the application framework
• Contribute to the UI test suite by developing unit tests for all new functionalities
• Drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and testing through the Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior UI engineers

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the development of amazing UIs with JavaScript and Angular Single-SPA framework technologies
• Practical experience programming with standard web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Work experience with TypeScript preferred
• Experience with frontend component libraries like Material-UI and Bootstrap
• Good understanding of accessibility best practices like VPAT and WCAG
• Solid coding practices, including writing technical specifications, peer code review, and unit testing
• Excellent hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions
• Hands-on experience with UI integration with RESTful Web Services
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Deep understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and bug tracking tools like Jira
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE or EE is required, master’s degree preferred

• Contribute to engineering improvements
