Job description

Infosys is seeking a Technology Architect-Java Microservices. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in Java full stack, Java Springboot and Microservices, Angular/React, jBPM or any other BPM product, RESTful, Kafka and K8S (with knowledge of Cloud Implementation - Azure, Kubernetes/Docker).
  • Experience in creating the technological vision, drives technology strategy and is responsible for ensuring the technical design of the platform.
  • Determining overall architectural principles, frameworks and standards.
  • Documenting and communicating designs, estimates, and implementation plans to program stakeholders.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders and technology leaders to translate program requirements into technical solutions and system design.
  • Strong and proficient experience in working with engineering leaders on the definition and delivery of highly scalable and secure SaaS solutions.
  • Have knowledge of multiple niche / emerging technologies & languages (not limited to above requirements).
  • Drive Innovation in Healthcare domain & SaaS platform.
  • Defining and driving software architecture and enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, maintainability etc.)
  • Designing proof-of-concept pilots and working closely with technical leads to drive successful POC implementations.
  • Providing leadership guidance to engineers, QA and product stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and agile environment
  • Ability to write good quality, secure and highly performant code
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, effective collaboration & communication skills.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Knowledge of Cloud Implementation – Azure, Kubernetes/Docker
  • Experience in developing & deploying Microservices, Data Modelling, Database Design, Tuning Design Parameters, Normalization, Solving Performance bottlenecks
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and understanding of OO concepts and design patterns
  • Experience in Middleware, Open-Source tools & technologies.


The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
