Job description

Infosys is seeking EDI Analyst - Healthcare Domain. An EDI analyst in healthcare manages and optimizes systems for electronic data exchange, ensuring compliance with standards like HIPAA and facilitating efficient, secure transmission of healthcare transactions such as 837 (claims), 834 (enrollment), and real-time 27X series transactions (eligibility, claim status, and authorization). Their responsibilities include gathering healthcare-specific business requirements, analyzing workflows, creating mappings—including STTM (Source-to-Target Mapping)—testing systems, and supporting end-to-end data transmission.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidates need to be in and around or willing to relocate to any of the locations Hartford, CT, Raleigh, NC, Indianapolis, IN, Richardson, TX and Tempe, AZ.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience with healthcare payer, preferably on Claims, Benefits, and Care Management.
  • Business Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document EDI needs specific to healthcare processes.
  • System Design & Implementation: Design and implement solutions tailored to healthcare transactions like 837, 834, and 27X series.
  • Data Mapping & Translation: Develop mappings, such as STTM documents, to support accurate data transformation and seamless integration across systems.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing to ensure system accuracy, compliance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Address system issues to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with internal teams, providers, and vendors to manage workflows and resolve issues

• Good Communication and Analytical skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Ability to write design documents and walk the audience through the design.
• Able to estimate for the end-to-end delivery of Integration projects.
