Job description
Infosys is looking for a Principal Technology Architect. As part of Manufacturing technology consulting practice, you will work on defining and delivering next generation consulting services in one or more of the areas like Enterprise Architecture, Digital, Cloud, AI, IT Resiliency and IT Security for leading global organizations worldwide.
Candidate will provide high end consulting services to large enterprises in defining their future state enterprise architecture and provide technology leadership, governance for the delivery of these programs. One will be focusing on our strategic clients who are embarking on their transformation initiatives and will work closely with the sales and delivery teams to drive solutions. You will identify technology big bets, develop solution propositions around them, do solution prototypes and proactively take it to the market.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 14 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Expertise in defining technology architecture and/or technology consulting in one or more of the areas like Enterprise Architecture, Digital, Cloud, AI, IT Resiliency and IT Security.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred to have completed industry standard certifications in cloud, data, analytics and AI (AWS, GCP, Azure), Enterprise Architecture certifications like TOGAF etc
- Expertise in leading and delivering one or more technology transformation programs successfully with tangible business outcomes
- Expertise in playing the role of a Chief Architect or Architecture Lead equivalent in the past and should have personally led a team of architects as part of large programs and provided guidance, coaching and mentoring to ensure tech quality of the program is met.
- Prior Experience in software development, Architecture and Design of large enterprise systems. In technical areas like Java, J2EE, .NET, Microservices, Cloud native development, AI, ML, Infrastructure as code, scripting, hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, NFRs like performance, resiliency, scalability, IT security, DevSecops etc.
- Should have a good technology knowledge breadth across SDLC including but not limited to User Experience, Non-Functional Requirements, Architecture, Design, Data, Analytics, Multi-Cloud, Poly-Cloud scenarios, IT Infrastructure, Info. Security, Responsible AI, APIs & microservices, Apps integration, Open-source technologies.
- Should have a depth in at least two of the above areas to drive end to end transformation solutions.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
