Job description
Infosys is seeking a Java Springboot microservices Lead Developer. In the role of Technology Lead, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Location for this position is Franklin/Brentwood, TN. This position may require travel.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Java/J2EE & 4 years of experience in Spring boot, micro services.
- At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
- Strong experience with high volume B2C / B2B eCommerce systems
- Experience in Designing the modules and interfaces
- Strong hands on experience along with customizing the applications related to Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, JSON, Micro Services.
- Full-stack development experience with Node.js, NestJs, GraphQL, React, and Springboot
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture
- Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms
- Having expertise in Admin support role with knowledge on Kubernetes, understand commands, networking, trouble shooting, shell scripting, unix scripting and Java scripting knowledge.
- Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills on Java/J2EE technologies
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
- Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Deep understanding of Digital Service and Customer Experience.
- Should actively participate in communication with business stakeholders and participate in all SDLC lifecycles
- Should be capable of reviewing the work done by other team members and guide them in complex issues.
- Should have basic knowledge related to Agile methodology
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Spring MVC, Spring Boot)
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
