Job description
Infosys is seeking a dynamic and visionary Principal Consultant in Data, Analytics, and AI to lead transformative digital initiatives for our global clients. In this strategic role, you will drive end-to-end consulting engagements—from problem definition and business process analysis to solution architecture, development, and deployment—within a global delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Transformation Leadership:
- Spearhead data-driven transformation programs that align with client business goals and industry trends.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding architecture and design decisions with deep domain expertise.
- Consulting & Solutioning:
- Anchor consulting engagements by identifying business challenges and crafting innovative, scalable analytics and AI solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced data platforms, machine learning models, and intelligent automation frameworks.
- Client Engagement & Business Development:
- Drive business growth by supporting pursuit initiatives, crafting compelling proposals, and presenting value-driven solutions.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships through strategic insights and delivery excellence.

- Collaborate with global teams to deliver excellence and foster a high-performance environment.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bridgewater, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
- At least 7 years of experience in Data, Analytics and AI preferably in the Telecom domain
- Should have experience in running RFPs and Data and Analytics Presales activities.
- Experience in handling account management for an account of size > 5 MN per annum and working along with Sales team in Medium/Large deals (Min Size > 5 MN Annuity, Size > 2.0 MN Dev/transformation)
- Managed client relationships at Director/GM at customer organization
- Able to lead the team at customer location and experience in managing large teams in a global delivery model
- Able to understand the architecture on any Clod Data Platform / Hyperscaler and identify potential opportunities for improvement.

- Experience in solving business problem in the relevant industry, understanding of E2E functional flows of the customer business
- Able to create a Business Plan for expanding business – with a good understanding of potential business opportunities, competition strengths and weaknesses

- Good understanding of solutions, accelerators and value proposition in Data, Analytics and AI
- Learnability and focus on new / emerging areas
- Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks

- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
