Job description
Infosys is seeking a Junior Business Analyst. As an Associate Business Analyst, you will provide support to consultants and technical teams in different stages including design, architecture and detailing of processes, development, configuration and deployment of high-quality solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
The work location will be Newark, DE. This position may require travel and / or relocation to the project location.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Experience with Information Technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).
- Exposure to databases (SQL) and basic querying.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BPMN).
- Internship or academic project experience integrating both development and business analysis.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Excel based Macros and Visio will be a plus.
- Ability to make presentation to senior leadership as required, manage effective communication between business partners and technology teams.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
