Job description

Infosys is seeking a Senior Product Owner to support our growing QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) client portfolio. In this role, you will act as the bridge between client stakeholders, business teams and engineering squads to shape and deliver digital products that transform restaurant operations, enhance customer experience, and drive business performance. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for capturing business needs, converting them into actionable user stories, defining the product roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle. You will play a critical role in defining product strategy, value realization and continuous delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA or Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 4 years of total experience, with 3 years in a Product Owner or Product Management role in Agile environments.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with QSR clients, preferably in areas such as POS, Store operations, Digital ordering, Kitchen display systems, or delivery & loyalty platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe) – responsible for backlog grooming, epic/story creation, prioritization, and sprint planning.
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys, business KPIs, and product metrics in the QSR space.
  • Proven ability to create feature roadmaps, MVP plans and collaborate with engineering/design teams to ship high-impact solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in QSR tech ecosystem – POS systems (example: XStore/NCR/Aloha/Symphony or custom tools), Kitchen automation tools, Third-party delivery integrations, loyalty programs, etc.
  • Knowledge of integration platforms and API-led architectures (for menu sync, order aggregation, delivery orchestration).
  • Experience in data-driven decision making – A/B testing, customer behavior analytics, etc.
  • Exposure to design thinking and user-centric product development.
  • Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD environments for faster product rollouts.
  • Experience in vendor collaboration or multi-stakeholder ecosystems (e.g., franchise models, aggregators, delivery platforms).
  • Comfortable with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or other collaboration/productivity tools.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, engineers, QA and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to define product roadmaps, OKRs and success metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with both business and technical teams.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced, iterative product development environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally, as per business need.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
