Job description
SAP ABAP Developer (Bilingual – English/Spanish)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ABAP applications and interfaces, supporting testing and production operations, and ensuring high-quality technical documentation. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to delivering robust SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents.
- Implement SAP ABAP software applications and interfaces.
- Conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality.
- Support end-users during Acceptance Testing and participate in Production Operations and Release Management.
- Assist with SAP upgrades, new releases, and monitor performance of technical objects.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to IDOCs, Web Services, and RFCs.
- Develop enhancements and perform code changes and code reviews.
- Write technical specifications and ensure alignment with SAP Best Practices.
- Utilize SAP ABAP/4 programming tools including SAPscript, SmartForms, AdobeForms, IDOCs, BAPI, RFC, BDC, and LSMW.
- Work with BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, user exits, and interface development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and ABAP development tools.
- Experience with integration technologies and debugging complex issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a bilingual environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
