Job description
JOB TITLE: DEVOPS SUPPORT ENGINEER
A skilled and proactive DevOps Support Engineer who will focuses on maintaining and optimizing AWS environments, supporting CI/CD pipelines using Harness and TeamCity, and driving cost-efficiency across cloud operations. He will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance while contributing to strategic DevOps initiatives.
MANDATORY TECHNOLOGIES AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Harness and TeamCity.
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Dynatrace.
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS).
- Knowledge of additional monitoring tools (Datadog, Quantum Metrics).
- Experience with GitOps and configuration management tools (Ansible, GitHub).
- Ensure system reliability and security by maintaining AWS infrastructure and managing IAM policies.
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness and TeamCity, ensuring smooth deployments and rapid issue resolution.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices with Terraform or CloudFormation for scalable and maintainable environments.
- Monitor application performance with Dynatrace, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance user experience.
- Drive cost-efficiency through AWS usage analysis, automation of resource management, and strategic tagging/reporting.
- Promote DevOps excellence by developing observability dashboards, integrating new tools, and fostering best practices across teams.
- Contribute to system resilience and scalability through architecture reviews, automated testing, and proactive performance planning.
