Infosys– Engineering Services – Senior Software Engineer - US Support for Broadcast Satellite and OTT content delivery

Location for this position is Monterrey, Mexico. Must work from office
Experience required: 3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:

  • VOD Pipeline production support for TVOD, SVOD, C3 Restart, 4K & Adult titles flowing through Open Video workflow & legacy workflows to support Streaming & Satellite products
  • VOD Pipeline Non-Prod Support - Triage/ validate the VOD Content Processing, Process, System, and Software QA.
  • Monitor VOD incident detection tools for alerts and issues.
  • Onboarding providers to New Workflows for the Migration to AWS Cloud.
  • Manages AWS/Aspera account creation for providers.
  • Management & App Support of VOD Aspera Instances and other legacy VOD applications
  • Maintain provider relationships for Content Delivery
  • Manage System Integration activities for any migration efforts as/when needed
  • Identify opportunity and implement automated solution using DIRECTV Tools with intent of reducing incident MTTR and manual effort

Preferred:
  • Proficient knowledge in ITIL (Incident / Problem / Change management) practices.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, systems analysis and data analysis.
  • Experience with administrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring various systems in a Linux or Windows environment.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as SQL, python, and UNIX shell scripts.
  • Experience with software development or infrastructure and software deployment automation.
  • Familiar with Agile software development practices
  • Ability to make decisions and work under high stress situations
  • Attention to detail and completing work with high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Good to have: Automation Experience with Java.
