Job description


Infosys is seeking a Blockchain solidity engineer. The individual must specialize in secure smart contract development, testing, and optimization for blockchain projects. Proven expertise in building scalable and compliant blockchain solutions, with strong knowledge of Ethereum and Solidity. Experienced in implementing end-to-end solutions for large financial clients, ensuring performance, security, and regulatory alignment

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
Overall, 4+ years of experience.
4+ years of Solidity development experience.
Strong understanding of Ethereum blockchain architecture and EVM.
Proficiency in Solidity smart contract development and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155).
Hands-on experience with smart contract testing & debugging (Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry, Ganache).
Familiarity with gas optimization and writing secure smart contracts.
Strong grasp of cryptography concepts (hashing, digital signatures).
Knowledge of security best practices and exposure to common smart contract vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflow/underflow, front-running).
Experience with unit/integration testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Jest).
Good programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python (for scripts & test automation).
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.
Collaborates with frontend and backend teams to integrate smart contracts into web applications.
Maintains and enhances existing contracts while staying current with cryptographic and blockchain advancements.

Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to DeFi, NFTs, DAOs or tokenomics.
Experience with The Graph protocol and blockchain indexing.
Azure Cloud deployment experience for blockchain solutions.
Exposure to DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for decentralized application environments.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to resolve business issues
Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery environment and travel as required

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
