Job description

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Engineer with expertise in The Graph blockchain technology. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data indexing and querying using The Graph and other blockchain platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and data querying across decentralized networks

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
Overall, 4+ years of experience.
At least 4+ years of hands-on blockchain experience.
Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals (smart contracts, cryptography, transactions).
Specializes in writing subgraphs and sub streams for The Graph blockchain technology.
Responsible for creating and maintaining efficient data indexing and querying solutions.
Ensure that blockchain data is accurately processed and made accessible for decentralized applications, enhancing the overall performance and user experience
Familiarity with blockchain explorers for validation/debugging
Collaborate with product and data teams to define data models and indexing strategies.
Monitor and optimize performance of subgraphs and blockchain data pipelines.
Stay updated with advancements in Graph Protocol, Web3, and blockchain ecosystems.
Ensure security, scalability, and compliance of data pipelines.
Document architecture, processes, and best practices for internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with The Graph protocol and other blockchain indexing frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable blockchain graph deployments.
Exposure to big data/streaming frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink).
Understanding of DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or tokenomics.
Knowledge of machine learning on graph data (fraud detection, anomaly detection).
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
