Job description
Infosys is seeking a SQL Server Developer
This position’s primary responsibility will be in developing and maintaining high-volume SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL Server technologies, and job scheduling tools like AutoSys. Exposure to SSIS, Data Base Administration is a plus but not mandatory. This position’s primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in MS SQL Server.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 4 to 8 years of experience in MS SQL Server.
- Experience and good knowledge of ETL and SQL
- Experience in software development life cycle.
- Experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Experience in managing and optimizing large-volume batch and transactional programs.
- Experience in developing and maintaining data integration solutions using SSIS, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Willing to work in application/production support.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in performance tuning, code reviews, and production support activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality processes and coding standards.
- Experience with job scheduling tools such as AutoSys.
- Experience in CI/CD set up across multiple environments in SQL Server.
- Experience with data base administration.
- Experience in Banking domain.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
