Job description
Infosys –– Production Support Analyst / Technology Analyst
We are seeking a technically skilled Production Support analyst to join our custom POS operations team for Rent-A-Center. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Typescript, Node.js, React.js, and be well-versed in database concepts, particularly with PostgreSQL. Familiarity with ITSM framework is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications Basic
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology and a minimum of 3 yrs. experience in Production support and would be capable of solving problems and programing.
Mandatory Skillsets:
- Work experience in Typescript, Nodejs and ReactJS.
- Experience with relational and no-relational database structures – PostgreSQL (primary) and Oracle PL/SQL (secondary).
- Experience with ServiceNow for incident, change and problem management.
- Experience with version control tools like Gitlab.
- Proficient in Spanish and English communication.
- Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues
Good to have
- Experience with Amazon web services - S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, etc.
- Experience using monitoring tools like BigPanda, Logzio or Grafana.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and DevOps
Other Relevant Experience
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Ability to work in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience in Retail Domain
- Coordinate daily support operations and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Participation in on-call rotations and support during off-hours may be required
Shift roster
- Working from Tuesday to Saturday/Sunday to Friday
- First Shift from 8 am to 5 pm
- Second Shift 11 am to 8 pm
