Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Candidate to take on the role of Global Workshop WiFi – Service Manager within our onsite infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the service management of large-scale wireless network environments. This role focuses on managing and optimizing WiFi services across global locations, ensuring seamless connectivity, high availability, and secure operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the WiFi service, proactively monitoring performance, resolving incidents, and driving continuous improvements in alignment with ITIL best practices. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to collaborate effectively with regional IT teams and business stakeholders worldwide.

Key Responsibilities :

Service Delivery Management:
o Monitor service SLAs and performance metrics.
o Coordinate with Client, suppliers, and vendors to resolve issues.
o Implement corrective actions for service deviations.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
o Act as the single point of contact for Client stakeholders.
o Translate business needs into technical service requirements.
o Provide regular updates on service health and improvements.
• Incident & Problem Management:
o Oversee major incident resolution and RCA processes.
o Drive initiatives to reduce recurring issues.
• Change & Release Management:
o Plan and coordinate changes with minimal service disruption.
o Manage release schedules and stakeholder communication.
• Service Reporting & Metrics:
o Generate monthly/quarterly service performance reports.
o Analyze KPIs to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Process Improvement & Governance:
o Ensure adherence to ITIL framework.
o Identify and implement process optimization opportunities.
• Budget & Resource Management:
o Support budget planning and forecasting.
o Manage vendor contracts and performance.
• Risk & Compliance Management:
o Ensure compliance with Customer policies and regulations.
o Identify and mitigate service-related risks.

Your role

The Global Workshop WiFi – Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of WiFi services across all global locations. This role ensures that the service aligns with business needs and adheres to ITIL best practices. The Service Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to Clients Worskhop WiFi, managing incidents, problems, and changes while ensuring high availability and reliability of the service. They will collaborate closely with regional IT teams, network engineers, and business stakeholders to monitor service health, drive proactive maintenance, and implement enhancements. The role also involves ensuring compliance with corporate security policies and regulatory standards, conducting root cause analysis for recurring issues, and leading service improvement initiatives. Strong technical knowledge of enterprise WiFi technologies, experience with service management platforms like ServiceNow, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications such as ITIL v4 and Cisco Wireless, and have a proven track record in managing large-scale network services in a global environment.
