Job description
Infosys is seeking a Financial Associate Business Analyst with experience in banking domain. As a Associate Business Analyst, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Washington, DC or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel.
- At least 1 year of experience with Information Technology.

- Experience in Financial services with domain experience like Banking, Cards & Payments, SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Ability to deliver results in a techno-functional role, in an Agile environment.
- Experience in SQL programming.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate business data analysis into actionable tasks.
- Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.
- Strong in object-oriented design principles and functional programming.
- Facilitate the gathering and elicitation of business requirements from key stakeholders and business partners focused around solving organizational challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to identify risks and issues and propose improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
