Job description
Infosys is seeking a Financial Audit Business Analyst who is highly analytical and detail-oriented to lead the requirements definition for a next-generation financial audit application. This role will bridge the gap between audit domain experts, technology teams, and stakeholders to design a modern, intelligent, and scalable audit platform that enhances audit quality, efficiency, and compliance. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- The candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Tampa, FL, Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to these locations

- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
- Proven years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial audit, risk, or compliance domains
- Strong understanding of audit methodologies, financial reporting, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment, with flexibility for US time zones if applicable
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- CPA preferred
- Experience with audit management systems
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Collaborate with auditors, finance teams, and compliance stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate audit workflows, controls, and regulatory needs into clear system requirements and user stories.
• Analyze current audit processes and identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and data-driven decision-making.
• Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and wireframes to support solution design.
• Work closely with product managers, architects, and developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Participate in solution validation, UAT planning, and testing to ensure the application meets business needs.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with financial regulations, audit standards (e.g., SOX, PCAOB), and internal controls.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
