We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Group Benefits Insurance experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in group benefits products, excellent analytical skills, and experience in delivering business solutions across complex systems and processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and supporting end-to-end delivery of insurance solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidates need to be in and around or willing to relocate to any of the locations Hartford, CT, Raleigh, NC, Indianapolis, IN, Richardson, TX and Tempe, AZ.
- At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in SDLC within the Group Benefits insurance domain.
- Experience on group benefits products like Group life, group disability, dental, vision, accident, volunteer benefits, critical illness etc.
- Strong experience in business process modeling, data flow diagrams, and workflow analysis.
- Experience in New Business, Policy Administration, and Claims processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and stakeholder management experience.

- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Agile/Scrum experience in a BA role.
- Applied experience with large-scale, complex IT projects.
- Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint; knowledge of SharePoint, Quality Center, Rally, JIRA is a plus.
- Database/SQL experience and ability to write queries.
- Prior experience with reporting and analytics tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple business domains.
- Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and AI trends in insurance.
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face
