Responsibilities:
- Regular alignment with stakeholders across multiple clients (NetCo/ServCo) and maintain software/hardware product trials and IT system deliveries and as per a defined delivery framework and support deployment activities between Infosys, ServCo and NetCo.
- Manage client specific defect triage and review call - escalation path for ticket priority, urgency, etc. Lead triaging of defects between NetCo, ServCo, Software development and OEM vendors.
- Responsible for reviewing, maintaining and project management of product deliveries and interacting with stakeholders throughout the hierarchy of the client and internal platforms.
- Interface with service specific / engineering teams on specific platform(s) for all services/tools and provides regular feedback back to senior management and leadership teams. Ensure defect ticketing databases are managed within agreed SLAs and defined framework.
- Track, manage, escalate and communicate dependencies to address internal risks to ensure a sustainable delivery.
- Guide, assist and upskill support/delivery teams to understand the importance of project planning and requirements of the product or service across platforms or different quality gates within the platform life cycle
- Review platform specific data driven telemetry per client/global platforms - liaising with product deployment head
- Engage stakeholders for Product specific trials for quality gating, review sessions, approvals such as delivery scope, readiness reviews, quality reviews, rollout reviews
- Attends major incident management calls as lead engineer - liaise with Triage Teams
- Device lab configuration and lab management for LAN/WAN Devices, wireless gateways and WiFi extenders.
- Create/improve efficiency through advanced testing capabilities to ensure cost reduction whilst maintaining/improving quality of delivery in the network and/or device capacity.
Required:
- Extensive working experience in Project management and Agile methodology, manual/automated software/hardware testing, detailed root cause analysis and lab maintenance and support for Devices, Networking, wireless and VoIP services.
- Domain knowledge on DOCSIS, Fiber, Wi-Fi 5/6/7, CPE Device management, LAN/WAN, IPv4/6 and CWMP/TR069/TR181.
- Proven experience in network test tools, traffic generators, performance, and stability testing. Including network/software/hardware troubleshooting, data analytics and methodological approach to root cause analysis
- Strong leadership skills, ability to work as part of a large, dynamic team yet be self driven and capable of working in silo when required
- Excellence in presentation skills both remote and in person to all tiers of the management hierarchy and technical engineers of differing skills/backgrounds
Preferred:
- Working experience with Broadband software/hardware testing
- Strong knowledge of IP/LAN/WAN/WLAN networks to configure and troubleshoot In-Home connected devices
- Proven ability to deliver high quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology ideally in a fast-paced DevOps environment
- Network, device automation scripting, python/ruby.
