Job Title
Senior MuleSoft Developer (Mexico – Spanish Required)
Location
Mexico (Remote or Hybrid, within Mexico)
We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will be based in Mexico, fluent in Spanish, and comfortable working with cross‑functional and global teams. This role requires strong technical expertise in API‑led connectivity, integration architecture, and cloud-based systems.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Lead API‑led connectivity initiatives (System, Process, and Experience APIs)
- Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs
- Integrate enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, databases, and on‑prem/cloud applications
- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of integrations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment following best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior MuleSoft developers
- Participate in architectural discussions and solution design decisions
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Communicate effectively with Spanish‑speaking and English‑speaking stakeholders
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Strong expertise in:
- Mule 4, DataWeave
- API design (REST, RAML)
- API‑led connectivity
- Experience with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.)
- Message queues and event-driven architectures
- Solid understanding of security concepts (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL, API policies)
- Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluent Spanish (written and spoken) – mandatory
- Working proficiency in English
- MuleSoft Certification(s) (Developer, Integration Architect, or Platform Architect)
- Experience in microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or containerization tools
- Prior experience working with global or nearshore teams
- Agile/Scrum development experience
- Good to have Python skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Mentorship mindset and team leadership capabilities
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and performance
- Comfortable working across time zones
