Infosys is seeking a Business process Analyst with Merchandising - Retail skills who has specialized knowledge and leadership cutting across retail value chain sourcing procurement, merchandising, inventory management, entire supply chain process, store operations, sales etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the retail sector with in-depth experience and expertise in merchandising, pricing and promotions, store operations including POS. you will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years' experience with Information Technology.

Excellent in SME role across sub-segments of retail with deeper expertise in merchandising, loyalty, pricing and promotions. Comprehensive assessment of grocery operations including store operations, merchandising, supply chain, inventory management, Oversee and managing the merchandising process providing direction in creating blueprint for strategic initiatives.
Locations for this position is Atlanta, GA. This position requires travel and/or relocation to project/client locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience in develop and implementing sales strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising plans to drive revenue and achieve financial targets
Play a pivotal role working with client stakeholders, understanding their requirements and provide direction to the team
Extensive experience in retail, with a strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, and inventory management
Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and operational metrics & Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, especially in ensuring product quality
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, including during peak hours and special events, ability to train and motivate staff.
Proficiency in merchandising, inventory management systems and tools & Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure timely deliveries
Knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and best practices in grocery retail
Guide the development of customer loyalty programs, marketing campaigns and personalized shopping experiences
Train, mentor, and evaluate staff, fostering talent development and succession planning & Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Prepare detailed reports and present actionable insights and recommendations to client leadership
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform business decisions
Provide feedback and guidance to different stakeholders & teams on product assortment, product setup, data collection and management etc.
Knowledge and execution of pricing and promotions across different channels
Collaborate with engineers to integrate GenAI services into existing applications and data platforms
Assist with prompt engineering, evaluation, and optimization for reliability and performance
Ensure solutions align with security, privacy, and responsible AI guidelines
Provide technical guidance during PoCs and early production deployments
- Document architecture decisions, patterns, and implementation guidance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing teams and engaging with customers and vendors.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
