Intel’s Graphics Hardware IP team is seeking for an experienced Verification Engineer to join our global team in developing the next generation GPU IP.

This role will be primarily based in our Folsom Campus, and will be part of the Validation Center of Excellence driving verification and validation innovation , quality & efficiency.

In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities:

· Development and maintenance of Verification IPs, UVCs & BFMs

· Ownership of verification initiatives and methodology improvements.

· Assist with tracking quality & progress of the project verification goals.

· Provide indicators and guidance to management on issues and roadblocks on a timely basis.

· Participate in deep-dives for bug escape analysis and corrective actions.

· Guide and mentor DV engineers of varying levels to enforce & police quality & methodology.

· Participate in creation, review and signoff verification test plans.

· Participate in discussions across various disciplines to get a clear understanding of product features and their validation requirements.

· Develop strategy & architecture of, testbenches, BFMs, checkers, monitors, trackers, scoreboards and functional coverage.

· Assist with debug bottlenecks and issue triaging as necessary.

· Be able to work with teams across org/ geos.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications :

· BE/BTech and 3+ years of hands-on IP verification experience or ME/MTech with 1+ years of hands-on IP verification experience. The experience must include:

· Knowledge of SV, UVM, and object-oriented programming

· Strong understanding of engineering design & DV principles

· Experience with DV methodology, tools, and flow development

· Proficient at creation of test plans schedules and cost estimates for design verification efforts


Additional Preferred Qualifications :

2+ years of experience in one or more of the following skills/experience:

  • DV quality metrics
  • Proven track record in IP verification from environment development to test development to validation closure
  • Knowledge of 3D Graphics Pipeline and concepts
  • Experience in the development and deployment of verification strategies and methodologies across teams and organizations
  • Experience with CPU/GPU verification
  • Hands-on Experience with Verification IP (VIP) development for > 3 years
  • Experience with EDA Verification IP development processes
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and utilities including Make Perl Python etc.

Knowledge of Mem/Fabric Interface Protocols (e.g. CXL / AXI / PCIE)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$104,890.00-$148,080.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role
