Job Description:
Provides technical support during development, testing, and production of Intel products to meet regulatory requirements.
Enables market access by defining regulatory compliance strategy and ensuring compliance across Intel products.
Performs regulatory engineering activities to design for compliance, collaborates with business units, works with suppliers and external customers, conducts physical design reviews to the applicable standards, facilitates product testing, provides product and materials design criterion, and publishes, maintains, and archives certification reports and all conformity assessment documents.
Builds deep expertise of regulatory areas including product safety, EMC, immunity, RF/wireless, energy efficiency, accessibility, security, AI, and environmental/material content requirements.
Collaborates with business units, legal and public policy teams, and other leads and interacts with external standards bodies and special industry groups to ensure that Intel's products remain competitive in the global marketplace.
Assists customers to ensure wireless regulatory compliance at end-product level.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master degree in telecom/electronics/electrical engineering
5+ years experience in regulatory certification domain
5+ years experience with wireless technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and RF test environment
Experience with international wireless regulatory and technology standards
