Key Responsibilities:
System Reliability and Maintenance: Ensure the seamless operation of mechanical and HVAC systems, supporting our high-tech manufacturing and research endeavors.
Safety and Environmental Stewardship: Champion daily tactical efforts to meet safety, reliability, and environmental goals for our facilities' mechanical systems.
Innovative Design Collaboration: Partner with senior engineers to assist in the design and evaluation of mechanical systems, contributing to groundbreaking projects.
Problem-Solving Excellence: Troubleshoot systematic issues in mechanical systems, providing insightful evaluations, recommendations, and solutions to resolve challenges.
Engineering Solutions: Collaborate with business unit customers and internal teams to deliver engineering solutions that enhance equipment and system performance.
Operational Partnership: Work alongside operations and maintenance service providers to ensure mechanical systems are maintained and operated within specified limits.
Effective Communication: Convey tactical concepts across a diverse range of employees, from engineering peers to operational technicians and management.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with engineering team peers to ensure cross-discipline connections are understood and integrated.
Strategic Development: Assist in developing mechanical systems roadmaps and asset replacement strategies to ensure reliability, redundancy, and capacity for facility expansion, renovation, and growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field of study.
2+ years of experience in large-scale manufacturing, semiconductor facility or mechanical engineering facility services support
Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving immediate technical difficulties.
3+ years of experience mechanical systems (semiconductor cleanroom HVAC, fans, boilers, chillers, pumps, piping, valves, etc.) and control systems (instrumentation, PCS, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Statistical Process Control, FMEA, and JMP.
Expertise in large-scale manufacturing mechanical engineering facility services support.
Experience with production environments and other facilities process systems.
Experience commissioning mechanical systems such as pumps, boilers, chillers, HVAC units, and compressors.
Experience with project planning, coordination, and integration.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$100,160.00-$141,410.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
