Role Overview:
As a Firmware Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our firmware products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Test Plan Development and Execution:
- Participate in the development, execution, and triage of test plans and test cases for Firmware Integration testing.
- Design, develop, execute, and document test plans and test cases.
- Coding and Quality Assurance:
- Practice safe coding principles and respond to Coverity code scans to ensure code quality and security.
- Pre-Silicon Testing:
- Support and enable pre-silicon testing in simulation/emulation environments.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Good teamwork and collaboration among coworkers and customers to achieve project goals.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following to be initially considered for this position:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of industry experience related to the degree OR
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 1+ years of industry experience related to the degree,.
- The years of experience must include:
- Python programming.
- Hands-on validation experience.
Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the minimum requirements, the following qualifications are considered advantageous:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Experience with Pytest, Gtest, and FFF.
- Familiarity with Simics.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$126,420.00-$178,480.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
