The Web Application Architect’s responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Focusing on definition of foundry-specific design and architecture of a customer facing cloud application, including system requirements, use cases, system flows, cloud systems architecture, and customer-specifications that integrate and optimize cloud hardware and software solutions.
  • Engaging with the customer to understand their requirements, focusing on security and data protection, as well as quality and performance standards.
  • Being well-versed in cloud technologies and providing guidance to customers, internal development teams as well as presentations in regular technical forums specific to the program.
  • Determine integrated hardware, software, and data architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
  • Driving readiness, internally as well as externally, with manufacturers and vendors for application of new solutions, techniques, and methodologies to reference systems and to scale to customer designs.
  • Collaborating with cross functional engineering teams to design innovative enhancements for cloud systems meeting client and market expectations.
  • Maintaining documentation of specifications and best practices.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Computer Engineering, Math or in a STEM related field of study.
  • 8+ years of experience in architecting/designing cloud solutions on Azure or AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Computer Engineering, Math or in a STEM related field of study.
  • Active US Government Security Clearance with a minimum of Secret level.
  • Experience in technology Containers (Kubernetes) etc.
  • Experience in building and deploying web services development, API, REST, C# V(.NET Core), HTML5.
  • Experience in web development technology, including HTML5, CSS 3.0, TypeScript and JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery, React, Angular, Micro-front-ends, GraphQL, MSAL, AG Grid).
  • Experience with Automated testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with ESLint, Prettier, and Husky for code quality and management.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$177,200.00-$250,160.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
