Intel Fab Materials Quality and Reliability Lab is looking for a Lab Analyst to conduct sample analyses in support of incoming materials related issues and materials characterization using advanced analytical techniques. The analyst will also take part in day-to-day lab operation activities.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The successful candidate will perform analytical tests to support various projects requiring the use of a diverse set of analytical techniques such as Chromatography, spectroscopic, thermal analysis, and particle characterization, etc.
Perform routine lab operations - package receiving, shipping, ordering supplies, lab cleanup, etc.
Manage instruments in the lab, perform timely instrument calibrations, interact with instrument vendors to arrange instrument maintenance and repairs
Sample preparation for quantitative analysis
Qualitatively and quantitatively analyze experimental data, including statistical analysis
Prepare accurate and comprehensive test reports

Understand technical direction from senior lab personnel on diverse projects. The candidate will be supporting an analytical team of four chemists. Multitasking is key.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Must comply with safety requirements in the lab and exhibit a strong safety culture

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must have at least one of the following education/experience requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in any STEM related field
-OR- Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) Degree in any STEM related field with 2+ years professional lab experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology with experience on lab analytical equipment
Experience in supporting projects with LC, GC, IC and ICPMS analysis
Extensive hands-on experience working with equipment and lab operations: write up and update SOPs, troubleshooting, ordering and receiving consumables/ chemicals, housekeeping, etc.
Experience in performing instrument maintenance and/or repairs.
Experience in operating multiple analytical instruments for characterization of liquid samples

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$52,000.00-$200,000.00
