We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Staff Product Manager to own and revolutionize the onboarding experience for every new user. You will be at the helm of a major, high-visibility growth initiative, with the challenge to build a deeply personalized and intelligent onboarding experience for millions of consumers. Leveraging our rich data, cutting-edge AI, and a world-class team, you will ensure that every user’s journey through tax prep begins with confidence and clarity.

Responsibilities

As the product leader for new user onboarding, you will be responsible for:

  • Vision & Strategy: Define and champion a compelling multi-year vision and strategy for a frictionless, hyper-personalized onboarding experience that drives customer conversion and revenue.
  • AI-Driven Personalization: Lead the charge in ideating, developing, and launching innovative onboarding flows. You'll work hand-in-glove with our AI and Data Science teams to build and refine models that dynamically tailor the experience to each user's unique situation and needs.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Drive the entire product lifecycle from discovery and experimentation to launch and iteration. You will be the single point of accountability for the success of our onboarding experience.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the hub in a cross-functional team of talented partners across Design, Engineering (Product Development), Data Science, AI/ML research, and Marketing to bring your vision to life.
  • Data-Driven Execution: Instrument, analyze, and own the core metrics for onboarding. You will design and run rigorous A/B tests and user studies to generate insights, validate hypotheses, and drive continuous improvement in key business outcomes like conversion and revenue.
  • Influence & Collaboration: Build strong alliances and influence roadmaps across the broader Intuit ecosystem, ensuring your strategy aligns with and contributes to a cohesive end-to-end customer journey.

Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned consumer product leader with a solid track record of building exceptional customer experiences that have scaled to millions of customers.

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping multiple successful, large-scale consumer-facing products.
  • Strategic Thinking: You can effortlessly structure highly ambiguous customer and business problems along with technical complexity into clear and well aligned strategy and direction that can galvanize stakeholders and drive impact quickly.
  • Personalization Expertise: A deep understanding of and experience with personalization strategies, A/B testing methodologies, and data-driven product development. You should have a solid history of using data to create more relevant and dynamic user experiences.
  • AI & Technical Acumen: You are comfortable and effective working with technical teams. You can engage in deep discussions with engineering and data science leads on topics like system architecture, AI model capabilities, and data infrastructure.
  • Customer Obsession: A passion for solving complex and ambiguous consumer problems. Experience in fintech, personal finance, or other domains where user trust and data privacy are paramount is a significant plus.
  • Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams and effectively influence senior leadership and stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative or technical field. An MBA is a plus.
