Job Overview

Intuit is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Staff Business Data Analyst to join the Consumer Group Finance team. This person will manage the reporting tools, systems and dashboards used by the Finance team to track the financial performance of the TurboTax suite of products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Financial dashboards and other online reporting tools, be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and have a passion for managing and implementing mission-critical data and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly ramp up to develop a deep understanding of the systems, dashboards and reporting tools utilized by the Consumer Group Finance team
  • Annually refresh and roll forward existing dashboards for the upcoming tax season
  • Thoughtfully manage a new dashboard & reporting pipeline and build new reporting capabilities for the Finance team as needed
  • Refine process automation to efficiently compile data from multiple sources and develop reporting methods/dashboards to drive transparency of the financial performance of the business unit
  • Simplify and expand upon current FP&A financial reporting tools and capabilities to help drive quicker insights into business performance
  • Partner across FP&A to continuously improve processes and tools to drive scale
  • Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices; explore and evaluate new tools and technologies for integration into TurboTax reporting
  • Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and availability by strictly adhering to data stewardship principles and guidelines.
  • Manage complex processes and ambiguous situations while collaborating with multiple individuals and teams
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with business partners

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must be/have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with big data (organizing, reporting, forecasting, etc.) and experience with Financial reporting, particularly FP&A
  • Experience with modern data visualization and reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, etc. as well as a willingness to learn and implement new software
  • Efficient in handling large-scale datasets and proficient in using data manipulation tools and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • BS/BA in relevant field
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, intellectual curiosity, personal accountability, and a commitment to driving results in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Well-rounded interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build strong relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $144,000 - 195,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
