Job Overview
We are seeking a Staff Business Data Analyst as part of our growing Risk Analytics and Insight team within Intuit’s Global Solutions Business Group (GSBG). Be at the cutting edge of the Fintech industry - the GSBG division moves tens of billions of dollars in money for Intuit’s customers.The successful analyst will work across functions (Fraud & Risk Operations, Data Science, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Finance, etc.) and use data to drive insights which help achieve Intuit Global Solutions Business Group’s short and long-term business outcomes.
We’re looking for a candidate who will continue to build a strong analytics culture as part of our growing team. This role reports to the Senior Risk Analytics Manager of GBSG Insights and Experimentation as part of the broader GBSG Risk Policy & Analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the development of intuitive, high-impact dashboards and visualizations that guide strategic and operational decisions across the organization.
- Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments (e.g. A/B testing) to evaluate business initiatives and optimize product or operational performance.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to shape analytics strategies that are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with team and company goals.
- Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, through concise storytelling and executive-ready deliverables.
- Perform deep analysis on large-scale transactional and behavioral data to uncover trends, diagnose anomalies, and inform fraud, credit, or policy strategies, including the design of new risk-adjusted approaches.
- Translate ambiguous questions into structured analytical approaches using available data, domain knowledge, and strategic reasoning.
- Investigate root causes of performance gaps or anomalous behaviors, and recommend timely, data-driven corrective actions to stabilize outcomes.
- Build and maintain clean, reliable data pipelines while proactively addressing gaps in data quality, availability, and structure to enable accurate experimentation and monitoring.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area California $172,000.00 - 232,500.00This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or decision strategy roles, with a proven track record of driving measurable impact in complex, cross-functional environments. Experience in Financial Services or Fintech preferred.
- Deep proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data exploration, transformation, and automation of analytics workflows.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight, Tableau, Qlik) and experience building dashboards for monitoring and decision support.
- Solid comprehension of A/B testing and experimentation principles; experience designing tests and interpreting results to guide decisions.
- Proven track record of influencing cross-functional team decisions through data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align stakeholders across many teams through analytics.
- Skilled at ability to define, operationalize, and evolve KPIs or OKRs in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Science, Math or other Quantitative Field, or commensurate experience.
