Come join Intuit as a Senior Product Designer on the Core Platform Experiences team, as we help shape the direction of platform experiences across Intuit. You’ll enable our customers to access, manage and connect their accounts and data, while seamlessly navigating throughout the ecosystem. This design role is available in Mountain View, CA and requires hybrid-in-person work in the office 3 days per week. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about design, a collaborative team player, creative problem solver, strong communicator, and a constant advocate for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate complex visions through simple, elegant designs
  • Participate in customer research with clear goals, a testable hypothesis, and learning plan
  • Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
  • Engage with end-users and stakeholders frequently and learn quickly through iterative prototyping
  • Apply learning and data insights to generate designs that deliver customer delight
  • Collaborate effectively with other product designers, content strategists, researchers, product managers, developers, and business analysts
  • Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
  • Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
  • Work on multiple projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
  • Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, another relevant field, or equivalent work experience. A graduate degree is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and methods
  • Customer-centric design mindset
  • Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries
  • Expertise in conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
  • Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma and Adobe
  • Understanding the relationship of visual, interaction, and content disciplines
  • Currency of design trends in mobile, web, and motion design
  • A well-presented online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $148500-201000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
