Come join Intuit as a Software Engineer 2 on the QuickBooks Workforce Solutions team! As a Full Stack Engineer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. Intuit is a global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses overcome their most important financial challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications providing awesome user experiences in desktop and mobile devices
  • Hands-on development. Write highest quality code with utmost attention to scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results forward for Intuit
  • Accurately scope effort, identify risks and clearly communicate trade-offs with team members and other stakeholders
  • Stay aware of industry trends and make technology choices and strategic decisions. Subject matter expert on web technologies

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing consumer-facing web applications
  • Experience building responsive Single Page Web Applications using modern front-end technologies like React, Redux, Backbone, Angular, Knockout or Ember.js
  • Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture including performance, accessibility and usability
  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with the full stack of software development
  • Proficiency in Java, C++ or C# - any of these would suffice.
  • Building and consuming REST web services
  • Expertise in Software Design and Architecture
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. New York: $136,000.00 - 184,000.00
