Come join Intuit as a Software Engineer 2 on the QuickBooks Workforce Solutions team! As a Full Stack Engineer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. Intuit is a global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses overcome their most important financial challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications providing awesome user experiences in desktop and mobile devices
- Hands-on development. Write highest quality code with utmost attention to scalability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results forward for Intuit
- Accurately scope effort, identify risks and clearly communicate trade-offs with team members and other stakeholders
- Stay aware of industry trends and make technology choices and strategic decisions. Subject matter expert on web technologies

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing consumer-facing web applications
- Experience building responsive Single Page Web Applications using modern front-end technologies like React, Redux, Backbone, Angular, Knockout or Ember.js
- Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture including performance, accessibility and usability
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with the full stack of software development
- Proficiency in Java, C++ or C# - any of these would suffice.
- Building and consuming REST web services
- Expertise in Software Design and Architecture
- Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills

New York: $136,000.00 - 184,000.00
