Job Overview

Intuit is seeking a Backend Software Engineer 2 to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining services in Intuit Data Exchange platform.

Our teams are responsible for acquiring millions of transactions and statements daily to meet the needs of our customers across all Intuit products. You'll utilize your skills to help develop and maintain critical systems in cloud environments that are widely used by both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end, with strong proficiency in Java.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new services, features and enhancements, contributing to our high-scale tools and services.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product management, analysts, and data engineers.
  • Develop well-architected, elegant software solutions with a passion for excellence.
  • Perform and Participate in peer code reviews. Provide and receive constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in back-end development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring framework.
  • Hands on experience building web applications, databases and microservices at large scale.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew, both verbally and written.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • You are flexible in your working hours by working with the US on a semi-regular basis.
  • You have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • React experience is an advantage.
