Data as a Product has emerged as one of the most critical and exciting applications of Data in driving business results. Companies that treat data as a product have found up to a 90% reduction in the time to implement data into new internal and external customer solutions. Data Products are durable solutions that sit at the intersection of Technology, Business, and Data, solving internal and external customer problems primarily through the strategic applications of data. This leadership role will drive critical cross-functional end-to-end solutions that both strengthen the foundation of data and its use internally, as well as drive critical solutions that ultimately unlock new business opportunities, improve segmentation and targeting capabilities, create new data-powered customer experiences, and unlock the free flow of data across the ecosystem.


Responsibilities

  • Creates and Drives a roadmap of strategic capabilities and processes, with end-to-end ownership across UX, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc.
  • Drives strategic thinking to identify opportunities in the Internal and External use and application of data. Pitches new ideas and secures cross-functional resourcing to drive new initiatives.
  • Represents strategic data innovation on operational-leadership teams to inspire data-driven changes and operational efficiencies.
  • Streamlines the organization’s ability to make business decisions, pivot, and generate insights.
  • Provides guidance and support to business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goals.
  • Hands-on experience architecting scalable, performance-optimized data layers as well as Business Intelligence (BI) and semantic layers that deliver trustworthy, self-service analytics experiences.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working in complex data domains leading data strategy, the application of data to solve business and customer problems, instrumentation, and data products.
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end and drive organizational change via both clarity of strategy and executional rigor.
  • A combination of strong business acumen, data lifecycle development, and ability to iteratively mature data to drive higher order business use-cases.
  • Proficient in data and analytics tools and patterns with an understanding of modern data stack trends.
  • Passionate about mentoring others and the advancement of the team.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area: $227,000-$307,000

Southern California: $208,00-$281,500
