Job Overview

Intuit Mailchimp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer to join our dynamic Reporting and Analytics (R&A) team. In this role, you will be a pivotal contributor to our mission of empowering customers with actionable insights from their email, SMS, and other marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with product managers, leadership, and various stakeholders to drive the design, architecture, and continuous improvement of our technology stack and overall code quality. You will guide early career and senior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.

You should be comfortable deep diving into any codebase and being hands-on with projects, ensuring that the team overcomes technical challenges and maintains high standards of delivery.


Responsibilities

Qualifications

* 8+ years' experience developing web applications at scale

Experience with:
* Large-volume data pipelines and db's
* At least one big data tech
* Web services (consuming or creating) with REST and/or GraphQL
* Backend software development using Kotlin, Java Spring or Spring-Boot.
* Relational databases and NoSQL
* Kubernetes & Docker/Podman

* Microservices architecture
* A lead - not just technically skilled, but able to drive a project E2E and deliver Having a direct impact on the end-product
* Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving
* Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience working with cross-functional teams while maintaining effective working relationships
* Front-End experience is a plus
* Strong SQL and Data Modeling is a plus
* Proven experience in platform building and holistic view
