Role Overview

At Intuit, our Platform Partnerships team builds and manages our most critical, high-impact alliances. The team scales complex, cross-functional partnerships that acquire new small business customers for both Intuit and our partners. We embed our Intuit platform into partner solutions, while also providing and leveraging resale opportunities. Our platform partners include national financial institutions, leading technology companies, and industry-leading software providers.

We’re looking for an experienced Partner Development Manager to own and drive one of Intuit’s most significant partnerships. This individual will be responsible for orchestrating the execution of complex cross-company initiatives while deepening the strategic relationship between Intuit and our global partners.

This highly visible role will serve as the connective tissue between internal stakeholders across product, marketing, legal, and corporate strategy, as well as external partner teams. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of strategic partnership management and program leadership, ensuring that joint initiatives deliver measurable business impact and that the partnership continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead partnership execution: Serve as the accountable leader for all workstreams tied to this partnership, ensuring milestones are met, dependencies are managed, and risks are escalated appropriately
  • Manage partner relationship: Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders at our partner, ensuring alignment of corporate strategy, mutual success metrics, and transparency; own the partner sales targets for their assigned partner
  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Partner with product, marketing, legal, finance, and corporate strategy to deliver integration with our partner and program execution
  • Own strategic planning: Develop and maintain a multi-year partnership roadmap that aligns with both Intuit and the partner’s strategic objectives and financial targets
  • Communicate progress: Provide concise, executive-ready updates and materials that clearly articulate program status, challenges, and opportunities
  • Represent the partner internally: Act as the voice of the partner within Intuit to ensure that their needs and perspectives are reflected in decision-making while balancing Intuit’s strategic goals
  • Mentor and guide: Provide informal leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other teams while fostering a culture of partnership, trust, and shared success—both internally and externally

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in account or partner management, business development, or program management roles in a large enterprise B2B context
  • Track record of thriving in ambiguous situations by quickly identifying the path forward, and driving alignment across multiple decision-makers
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex partner relationships that drive measurable impact
  • Expert-level communication and executive presentation skills—capable of leading discussions with SVP and C-suite stakeholders
  • Experience developing and managing senior-level relationships within partner organizations while demonstrating influence without authority
  • Strong operational and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Expert-level writing with ability to write crisply for C-level briefings; writing sample required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
