Job Overview
Join Intuit’s Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) team within the Customer Success organization. As an Intelligent Process Automation Solutions Designer, you will bridge business strategy and technical execution — designing, automating, and optimizing end-to-end workflows that drive transformation across Intuit’s service and operational ecosystems.
This role combines strategic systems architecture with deep technical implementation expertise in automation, AI/LLM integration, and cloud-based process design. You will act as both a business process strategist and a hands-on automation engineer, ensuring that every automation directly enhances business outcomes, scalability, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
End-to-End Automation Design & Architecture
• Lead the design and deployment of intelligent process automation solutions across Customer Success and adjacent business units.
• Architect integrated systems connecting CRM, data pipelines, APIs, and AI services using AWS infrastructure, Jenkins, and microservice (MSAAS) environments.
• Translate business requirements into solution blueprints and software design documentation that define data flow, integration points, and automation logic.
• Oversee solution design from conceptualization to production, ensuring alignment with the company’s automation strategy and governance frameworks.
AI and Agentic Systems Development
• Build Agentic AI capabilities that can autonomously perform business processes or support human decision-making.
• Design and implement LLM-based interfaces and workflows for process orchestration, text understanding, and automation triggering.
• Prototype, evaluate, and deploy new AI/ML and natural language processing solutions, ensuring measurable business value and compliance with data governance standards.
Technical Implementation & Integration
• Develop, test, and deploy Python-based automation frameworks, scripts, and microservices for workflow optimization.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS tools for automated deployment and version control of process automations.
• Ensure automations are secure, compliant, and scalable, leveraging AWS security frameworks and best practices.
Business Partnership and Ownership
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, product managers, and data engineers to identify automation opportunities and define success metrics.
• Act as a translator between business needs and technical execution, ensuring every automation aligns with key performance indicators (CSAT, efficiency, ROI).
• Exhibit strong ownership and accountability — from ideation through implementation and performance monitoring.
Continuous Innovation & Enablement
• Contribute directly to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across automation initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and AI capabilities relevant to intelligent process automation.
• Lead proof-of-concepts and pilot programs for cutting-edge automation use cases.
• Mentor peers and contribute to the center of excellence for automation design, governance, and best practices.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
• Strong programming experience in Python (required); experience with JavaScript, Go, or similar languages a plus.
• Experience in process automation, process mining, data pipelines, and system integrations using APIs and cloud-native tools.
• Expertise interfacing with Large Language Models (LLMs) and building Agentic AI systems that interact with APIs, data, and end-users.
• Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience with Jenkins, microservices, and MSAAS architectures.
• Understanding of event-driven automation, and data governance/security principles.
Business & Leadership Skills
• Proven ability to design solutions that blend technical feasibility with business impact.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of operational processes, metrics, and automation ROI.
• Skilled communicator — able to articulate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and influence in cross-functional environments.
• Experience in driving process transformation initiatives across large-scale organizations.
Preferred Experience
• Exposure to contact center, CRM, or customer service technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
