You’ll work with a small group of passionate engineers, product managers and designers.

As part of the Mid-Market Agents Engineering Team, you will lead the development of intelligent agents that deliver a “done-for-you” experience—helping mid-market businesses improve profitability, boost productivity, and reduce setup friction through streamlined enablement and personalized experiences. You will join an innovative and passionate team of engineers leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as React, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, AWS, ElasticSearch, and Kafka to build globally distributed services. We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in back-end web technologies (Java, Spring, RESTful services, etc.) who is eager to work on features and services that enhance our product suite and delight our Small and Mid-Market Business customers.

  • Thought Leadership - You will collaborate with other leaders at Intuit to influence and develop strategic direction, systems roadmap, and business and operational processes by providing the required technical guidance.
  • Drives significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal layers of the architecture
  • GenAI Landscape Mastery: Continuously explore emerging trends, tools, and techniques in Generative AI. Follow trends and research topics of leveraging AI/GenAI to improve workforce efficiency.
  • Understands customer behaviors and partners with cross-functional partners to influence and drive end-to-end solutions for customer problems
  • Drives design and implementation of durable software solutions that will solve critical customer problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Executes with a boundaryless mindset and contributes to solutions outside of their primary area of ownership
  • Creates robust, scalable, and secure technical designs, effectively implementing them to balance short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of applications
  • Passionate for continuous learning, experimenting, and applying cutting-edge technology and software paradigms to solve customer problems
  • Grow Talent – Groom the next generation of technical leaders in the group.
  • Hands-On – Be prepared to get hands-on and debug complex issues or create fully working POCs which teams can take forward.
  • Communication skills – Explain complex designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive consensus.

Qualifications

Team/ Collaboration:

  • Partners with other groups both inside and outside of Intuit for cross-functional design, development, and integration
  • Works with cross-functional team members from Architecture, Product Management, and Operations to design, develop, test, and release features
  • Articulate and inspire a compelling vision for how GenAI can revolutionize our business.

Community:

  • Contributes to standards, patterns, and best practices that improve the engineering community
  • Provide perspective on leading industry trends, recommendations on new and emerging technologies, technology prototypes, patent proposals, and engineering process improvement

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related area
  • 15+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments (Java, J2EE)
  • 5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products or business applications
  • Full-stack development experience with AI technologies/tools and apply it to user experiences or backend solution
  • Experience with AI technologies like SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python
  • Prior experience working in teams that have built AI native applications for 1+ years
  • Demonstrated experience with generative AI models and frameworks.
  • Proven track record of building and deploying AI-powered solutions.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: ○ Front-end technologies like React, Angular, SwiftUI (iOS), Kotlin (Android)

○ Back-end technologies like Java, Typescript, Spring, Express (NodeJS)

  • Prior working experience in a cloud computing environment like AWS/GCP is highly desired
