Job Overview
Intuit Mailchimp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Staff Engineer to join our dynamic Reporting and Analytics (R&A) team. In this role, you will be a pivotal contributor to our mission of empowering customers with actionable insights from their email, SMS, and other marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with product managers, leadership, and various stakeholders to drive the design, architecture, and continuous improvement of our technology stack and overall code quality. You will guide early career and senior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.
You should be comfortable deep diving into any codebase and being hands-on with projects, ensuring that the team overcomes technical challenges and maintains high standards of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, project & test planning. Leading and developing several project simultaneously and in high velocity.
- Owning and leading the FE-Team Operational Excellence
- Top FE architecture skills while focusing on performance and velocity
- Mentoring Early careers & Senior engineers
- Building strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent.
- “Self-starter” attitude and the ability to make decisions independently
Qualifications
8+ years’ experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience developing public-facing web apps at scale, where you gained expertise in all aspects of the web SDLC from design and implementation to deployment and operations
- Proficiency/Experience with:
- VibeCoding and leveraging CodeAssist tools.
- Modern JS frameworks such as React/Angular.
- Component composition
- Unit testing & Automations experience
- Investigating and improving JS performance
- Typescript
- Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process
- Strong grasp and hands-on experience with cloud (AWS, GCP) infrastructure tools and automation (infrastructure as code and operations).
- Business Acumen - strategic thinking & strategy development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned
