This role is instrumental in accelerating Intuit's transformation through high-impact technical research problems that significantly accelerate our BU teams in unlocking transformative AI-driven experiences for our customers based on advances in LLMs and other AI technology.
You will drive a portfolio of strategic initiatives across emerging technologies, user experiences, products, and capabilities that have the potential to be transformative to our customers. This portfolio is focused on establishing Intuit’s external presence as a cutting-edge technology leader. Your portfolio will focus on building new products, implementation of AI solutions, automations and done-for-you experiences through AI-driven intelligence solutions across its capabilities.
This role helps accelerate tech transformation in a way that enables Intuit to deliver the most efficient and flexible technologies and user experiences. This role has significant executive leadership visibility.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Be a leader in the Foresight PMO org
- Drive planning, execution, and operations across AI and LLM product areas
- Own all aspects of program structure, execution, and communication, including Product and Program Reviews, sprint planning, sprint demos, code jams, and more.
- Support our various external partnership programs
- Build operational rigor and operational processes to cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable results and delivery against the timelines
- Identify core and critical issues to organizational performance and clearly communicate status, progress, and results across the organizational boundaries and levels
- Build and maintain relationships inside and outside the organization to ensure strong collaboration, raise the profile of the team and its key initiatives, and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Key Skills:
Focus strategically
- Accelerate the most strategic business outcomes by working collaboratively with VP+ leaders in your space to drive portfolio strategy and align squad resource allocations.
- Identify when a decision or tradeoff is needed, drive discussions, assess options, and provide principled and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders for final decision.
- Understand industry trends, Intuit strategy, and how the portfolio fits into the company strategy.
- Mentor team members. Partner with Team Leader to assess and develop team members.
- Drive program execution, ensure program deliveries align to operational standards, contribute to the continuous improvement of operational standards.
Lead change
- Generate broad executive level support for the program/portfolio.
- Partner with leadership to create a culture where teams are encouraged to share information, constructively debate and communicate freely.
- Evangelize change and contribute to the development of a high performing team.
- Establish mechanisms to maintain a pulse on the organization during change, identifying themes and areas of friction, and work with leadership to develop action plans.
Enable scale
- Define and implement program/portfolio best practices that are repeatable and embody continuous improvement.
- Drive areas of improvement across the program and work with stakeholders to enable cross-Intuit acceleration.
- Drive the development of the program management craft and demonstrate thought leadership within the community.
- Coach and mentor program managers to grow their skills.
Domain expertise
- Navigate enterprise finance, legal, & privacy program areas with ease, drawing from experience to accelerate outcomes, predict challenges, and prevent failures.
- Apply your expertise in software development approaches & SDLC methodologies to the portfolio, and help drive operational excellence.
- Identify and leverage expertise in others to reach solutions.
Deliver programs
- Develop and execute against a high quality plan that is organized into manageable pieces that can be individually owned.
- Use data to assess outcomes and progress to plan, and use independent judgment to provide insights and communicate to stakeholders.
- Establish mechanisms for the team to identify risks and issues, and present recommended response plans to stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Strong Technical Program Management leadership experience, including 12+ years planning and leading a strategy and portfolio of programs and/or extremely large & complex digital transformation programs in enterprise finance, legal, or privacy.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at the VP level and above within a matrixed environment.
- Experience with driving complex programs with a heavy focus on AI, GenAI or other emerging technologies.
- Strong technical acumen with expertise in software development approach, emerging technologies, architecture, and lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycles. Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across teams in delivering the best program outcomes.
- Computer science or other technical education or equivalent work experience is Preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and experience; willing and able to challenging the status quo.
- Excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given
