Come join our team at Intuit as a Senior Staff Product Designer. You will be helping to unleash the power of AI for an innovative new product that will push the boundaries on how we can offer greater value to customers with innovative UI. We are in the early stages of building up the user experience so you will be responsible for setting the foundations and delivering the vision.

Using your exceptional design vision and craftsmanship, you will drive and execute in a fast-paced environment to experiment, test, and deliver delightful agentic experiences. Specifically you will:

  • Apply design thinking to complex AI/ML/data/analytics problems and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize across user needs, business goals, and technological realities

  • Transform abstract concepts and technical details into clear and compelling designs that innovate

  • Conduct and oversee research both qualitative (e.g., contextual inquiry sessions, prototype testing) and quantitative (e.g., usage analytics) to report trend patterns, recommendations, provocations, and rapid iterations

  • Deliver visions, storyboards, presentations, detailed interaction specs, wireframes, and prototypes

  • Communicate designs effectively to leaders, partners, and customers

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver engineering-ready designs


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of mobile & consumer or enterprise experience in interaction design, product design, or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or relevant field; Master’s preferred

  • Deep knowledge of design principles and methods

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Expertise conveying ideas and solutions through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping

  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, XD

  • An updated online portfolio

  • Comfortable with rapid experimentation, iteration and outside-the-box thinking on a fast moving startup-like team with very high visibility. Experience with executive leadership communication.

  • Bonus: Application of AI/ML in experiences, HTML/CSS prototyping skills, vibe coding/designing tools


Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California: $194,000 - $262,500
